Before, answering the question, let me discuss a fun story with my people. I never plan to acquire Psychology as a major in my studies. Even though study of brain and mind makes me so sick. However, the magic initiates from grade 12. I had a very compatible bonding with my professor. Luckily, she had her background in Psychology. However, during the course I was so inspired by her lifestyle that I made my mind clear to be in the field of Psychology only. Apparently, it turns into my  major subject and I feels so blessed to have such a prestigious and wonderful subject in my university life. Lastly, a great thanks to my professor.

3. Why are you taking this course?

Personally, Psychology is not my favourite subject. However, I develops my interest later on in psychology which makes me to indulged in the subject deeper and deeper afterwards. Furthermore, Psychology is not only a good pathway for the future purposes but it also plays an essential role one's personal healthcare and mental peace. Which apparently, makes me calm and balanced every day.

There are numerous places I explore with my family and friends which ends up into many historical and mesmerizing memories. The most prestigious place I would like to mentioned about is known as the "Heavens on Earth" Kashmir. Here one can embrace the beauty of nature by exploring various photogenic spots. Some magnificent things to explore is the historical tradition, delicious food and breath taking views of lakes and villages. Another unique thing I would like to mentioned is the simplicity of people which most travellers love to explore.

Sometimes, I love to do mediation and volunteering activities in my spare time. The purpose of doing these
stuff makes me feels accomplished and fulfilled both from inside and outside.

There are plenty of things to do in life to meet our satisfactions. However, to answer the question in positive manner I will recommend to make mediation or yoga to be the part of once lifestyle. Honestly, I have never been a person who loves to engaged in the activities I mentioned. However, all we need is the motivation and the helping hand that can actually assists to take our lives at the turning point that we all need for our external and internal growth. I started Yoga from Grade 12 and it turns out to be the most fruitful decision I took in my life till now. It totally changes my personality, the way I used to spoke, my humble attitudes towards others and the most specific thing is the calm mind. Furthermore, it also makes a perfect compatibility with Psychology. In this era, everybody needs a soothing and a calm mind with a sharp brain.

  1. Hi Amrit, I enjoyed reading your blog because it is highly personal and interesting , I love your warm and welcoming tone. The story you told about how your teacher encouraged you to pursue psychology really caught my attention. One thing you could improve is try to write short and clear sentences; breaking long sentences into smaller ones makes it easier to read. Otherwise , Great work !!

  5. Hi Amrit, I really enjoyed how you shared your personal story about how you discovered your passion for Psychology through your professor. It’s great to see how something unexpected turned into a major that you now love. For improvement, you could make some of your sentences shorter for clarity, like in the part where you say, "Psychology is not my favourite subject... I develops my interest later on." It could be clearer if you wrote, "Psychology wasn't my favorite subject at first, but I developed an interest in it later.
